Read a book or maybe 26

I read this quote the other day:
"if you read a book a month for the next 10 years, you will only have ready 120 books, choose wisely!"
This soon had me thinking about my commitment to read a book a week (Made earlier this week), and maybe merely reading a book a week isn't enough, maybe I need to read a book a week an post a brief review of the book here afterwards.  Look for the book review coming soon.
This week I am reading Rework by Jason Fried, I have probably an hour of reading left.
Look for my review of Rework this weekend

Book Challenge 6 months = 26 books

Come back often to see the reviews and how I am progressing

Diet continued

Today I am down 84 pounds and still losing.  Having a lot of kidney beans, have to try a new lentil recipe soon.  I am really happy with my loss so far.  I added 3 extra holes in my belt as it and my pants are too big for me and it looks like I need to add another as it is too loose again.  I have started to throw out the clothes that are too big for me to wear, I am not going back.
No matter your age or size, leading a happy healthy life is possible, just start and don't stop.

Health and Weight loss

It has been a long time since I posted here. Last year was pretty crazy form me. I was working 60 - 80 hours / week, that combined with other factors and I found my self burnt out. I had phnemonia over the Christmas holidays and when I checked the scale I can safely say I weighed more then I ever have. Sick and disgusted things had to change. I made some changes at work to reduce my stress and get my workload back to a normal level.
But the big change was when I decided I was done with the excuses there is no reason for me to be this big. I started a slow carb diet, early January, after purchasing the 4-hour body by Tim Ferris. In May in addition to the diet I started walking at least 2k 5 times / week and ended up walking over 50k in May. Not bad considering the week vacation I had in May. In June I am adding cycling back into the mix in addition to my walking and seeing if I can continue to step up my fitness level and lose weight.
So 5 months in how am I doing?
Well as of this morning I am down 77 pounds from start weight and averaging between 3 and 4 pounds a week. I still have a long way to go however I am very happy with my progress and I am looking forward to maintaining that weight loss through out the summer.
I will start posting regularly here as well posting my progress.
