A few Days Later

I have been negligent in posting the last couple of days. No news on the bike, starting to fear the worst so most likely in the market for a new bike. Tonight after my bike ride I will spend some time creating a post detailing some of our adventures with pictures. Until then I leave you with this one.

Day 1

Well let's call it evening 1.
Just checked in at the hotel.
350k give or take.
Great ride

Is the clock going backwards?

As my vacation approaches I feel like the kids from a Van Halen video where they are trapped in school and the clock seems to be going backwards...

The Day before

Late night at work and with a code promotion tonight will be up late. Taking a quick break before I start the packing process for the trip. Excited and nervous to be taking this over 2100km ride to New Orleans. Trying to remember to pack everything and fit everything in my bags. I was hoping for some good sleep tonight but since I have to work late probably to 1:30 or 2:00, it doesn't look like it.
Hoping for good weather, good roads and light traffic.

Montreal Road Trip

A couple of weekends ago, I went on a road trip to Montreal with my friend Greg. It was a lot of riding and I put almost 1300km on the bike.
We went out in the city and had a good time. The ride home was a little rough as we got lost trying to get out of Montreal, twice. We eventually made it out and the wind was pretty rough on the highway but we powered through.
This was a test run for a ride we are planningon making to New Orleans in a couple weeks. The gear, the bikes and the riders all held up pretty well.
